The polyester plain weave shell is windproof to keep him protected on breezy autumn days and snowy walks in the woods. Great product but too small for my daughter
I bought this jacket for my 3 almost 4 year old daughter. I bought a 5t and it was too small for me. She is taller than most kids her age but other 5th fit her just fine. The only other issue I had was the return policy. I had to pay $6.99 to return it. Free returns would be appreciated.

We use this almost exclusively as the outer layer for our toddler for winter in northern Colorado. The flaps around the chin snap up making it extremely cozy with the hood on to protect against wind. With this, I feel very confident my toddler is warm and as he seems very comfortable in it and seems to fall asleep faster when I take him on a walk outdoors! My toddler has been wearing it around 19 months (currently 20 months old) is 95 percentile in size, so I chose the 3T, and it fits his height and size really well, whether with thin or thick layers. Hope it’ll still fit when he’s 3 years old.

Ordered 2T for my 21 month old. It's extremely cosy and I don't worry about whether my son is warm enough, if anything he might too warm, especially in the car. I foresee it lasting till 3 and reused for another or resold. Great quality.

I purchased the Stone Blue coat for my 2.5 year old. We tried both a 2T and 3T, opting for the 3T because the arm and body length was slightly short for my tall, thin built boy. It's not yet cold enough in Ohio to wear the coat out, but he's worn it around the house, on both sides, and reported that he preferred the cream fleece side. Both sides of the coat are adorable and with the quality Patagonia offers, I know this coat will hold up well through many outdoor plays and sledding this winter.
