Feels like bell bottoms
I guess if you like boot cut pants these may be for you. To me they almost felt like bell-bottom jeans. They are so roomy it didnt feel right. Not for me.

Love these pants, no complaints on the material as it’s durable, sustainable, and looks great with a t-shirt or button down. They’re the only pair of pants I own for casual wear so I’ve gotten to know them well. Only issue I’ve had is that I had to get them tapered as they were a bit too baggy by the ankles. I do a ton of running and mountaineering so my legs are pretty toned. I bought the slim version of these but the thighs were too tight so I replaced them with the straight version. These fit great in the thighs but had to get the ankles tapered. Prana, please create an athletic cut for your pants as I’m sure plenty of your customers face this issue.

Yep, they have changed the fabric just a bit. It is noticeably lighter weight than the previous version but I think this gives it more versatility it warmer temperatures. The previous Stretch Zion fabric was a bit too warm for summertime. My favorite travel or town to trail pant. I am on the slender side and found the sizing to be as expected.

I've worn these for years. They were my favorite pants. When not at work, these were my "go to" pants. The fit has changed from the knees up - much slimmer and an unbalanced cut. The fabric feels very cheap, thin, and shiny. Really? It's the "new coke" of pants. What a major disappointment! I guess I'm moving to a new brand of pants unless this gets fixed. I'm assuming the shorts I loved for years in the same cut/fabric are now hosed too?

Could not find anything on leg opening online, so decided to try them anyways. 36x32 has an 18" leg opening, LITERALLY bell bottoms lol. Material and fit above the knees was nice, but below the knee was terrible. Going to try the slim, but would be nice if prAna would list their leg openings. Boot fit is one thing, but seriously these are bell bottoms.

I have 3 pairs of the original Brion shorts and 2 pairs of the pants in slim fit. These are significantly slimmer and are skin tight down to the knee, despite being the straight fit. Super disappointed but these will have to go back.

Inconsistent Sizing

Yes, these pants are on the tighter side in the thighs, however I don't mind the fit due to the material being so comfortable and stretchy. However, its seems as though Prana has an issue with inconsistent sizing across different colors. I have a blue pair of these pants, which fit great, and just receieved two other colors. One color fit as expected, yet the other fit significantly tighter around the waist. When I measured the pants, there was a clear 3/4inch difference in the waist. Love the pants, just unfortunately will have to return the color which had the inconsistent sizing.

I have three pairs of Brion shorts, and they fit great, so it seemed like a no-brainer to pick up a pair of Brion pants too. First I tried the Brion II Slim, but they were laughably tight around my thighs. They're basically sepia-colored running tights with pockets and belt loops. They were absolutely ridiculous looking, so back they went. Not to be dissuaded, I ordered a pair of Brion II (not slim) pants to replace them. These turned out to be less of a classic yoga pant fit and more of a yoga pant-bootcut jean hybrid fit. Again, absolutely ridiculous. Tight in the thighs and crotch and wide at the calves. Prana design department, u up? For reference I am 5'8" 145 lbs. and typically wear 29x30 pants, but 28" Prana pants and shorts have always worked for me. Bummer the fit on these pants is so bizarre because I really like the fabric and look of them otherwise, and my Brion shorts have been great.

The tags say, "standard fit" and "straight leg". There's a lil' bit 'o stretch but not as much as the Brion I. The fits leaves very little to the imagination of others. The waist fits fine, but I can't wear these to the office, or the crag--I'm going straight to the club. Another reviewer said they could layer underneath it. I think a thong is about the most I could squeeze under them. These are a 28" waist I'm wearing which is a true fit. These are heading back to the store. Someone else will hopefully have better luck with this pair.
