i Have had a tough time finding a good insulating layer that doesn't overheat and can be used in many different situations outdoors. I do a range of intensity in outdoor activities and this jacket has been with me on all of them. Its the most adaptive and easily compactable layer i have. its priced more affordable to its competitors (arc proton, patagonia ect). its a must have with me year round

Almost perfect. The pockets are accessible with a rucksack. The sleeves are long, which is good. But the cuffs are very loose. Well made and warm. Would be great in brighter colours.

Perfect in everyway except for one...

Instantly become my go to jacket... whether it be for wearing during a hike, in the evening/morning when camping or just a stroll around town. Not only is it warm and light, but the fit is perfect - snug enough so as not to act as a sail in windy conditions but loose enough so as not to restrict movement. I carry it with me everywhere... because you never know when adventure will come beckoning! HOWEVER, packing it into it's left pocket has been impossible to achieve. I have numerous jacket/fleece which has this functionality and I am able to pack these away comfortably (even when exhausted at the end of a long day) so...

Great but really easily marked

A lovely synthetic jacket that doesn't look like a puffa, warm and comfortable even though really light. Only issue is it's so easy to mark. Water marks around the cuffs and now left with marks where stains won't wash through.

Incredibly warm for its size.

Incredibly warm for its size. Much better than anything down or synthetic that I have had before. Good sized chest pocket (finally!) on a well cut but not over styled womens fit. Really like the soft cuffs and generous hood too. Top bit of kit.

Light, warm and comfortable. Love the sleeves the way they hug the wrists in such a comfortable way. Nice to have it already logo'd with AMI.

Awesome Jacket

This has quickly become my most worn Rab jacket! Super light, comfy, packs down really small, breathable and perfect for taking on all sorts of adventures. Really love it!
