Dawn Patrol 3/2 Back-Zip Full Wetsuit
The rising sun reveals a perfect break with no surfers in the lineup, so it's time to break out the Rip Curl Men's Dawn Patrol 3/2 Back-Zip Full Wetsuit and enjoy the empty waves while you can. You won't mind the early morning chill thanks to this suit's Flash lining, and it's built with many of the same features as Rip Curl's high-end suits in order to provide performance and durability without making you go broke.
E5 neoprene is light and warm, and E5 taped stress points enhance stretch where you need it for unrestricted paddling and surfing. Glued and blind-stitched seams are flexible without being frail, and the zippered key pocket allows you to stop worrying about thieves messing with your gear pile on the beach. So, when you're ready for comfort and durability that won't cost an arm and a leg, give this suit a try.

SURF INSTRUCTOR REVIEW: This is definitely a good suit for people with a slender build, and are a bit lengthier than most. It definitely runs about a full size smaller than any other wetsuit brand. In my experience with Ripcurl, they tend to wear out a lot bigger than most suits, even if they’re well taken care of. I go through about 4 suits a year because I’m in the water (California) 6 days a week, 6hrs a day. But the first couple of months are premium and totally worth it. The “fire skin” material they use on the inner chest and back of the suit prevents rashing and skin exfoliation when sand gets in there. Keeps you cozy and of course, gives you all the UV protection you need. Would buy again if I scored the same amazing Backcountry discount.

Great Value Great Suit
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times

- Large
I own anywhere between 6-8 wetsuits at a time, all different thickness and styles. I have mostly top of the line wetsuits and wanted to try bottom line such as this. I will say this suit is really all you need. It is comfortable enough and has lining in all the right places. I wanted a back zip for the days that aren’t as cold seeing they are always easier to paddle. For the price, this is the perfect suit for anyone.
