Fast, Light, Warm
I was replacing old Salomon boots and was looking for something for winter hiking and everyday use in the snow. Given the weight of these, I was doubtful they would be warm enough for me. I have nothing but positive comments on the product as these are easy and quick to put on, really comfortable and just perfect warmth for outdoor activities. I haven’t had them long so can’t comment on durability but they seem to be built tough.

Great Boot
I love the lacing system .. easy to get on and off .. I haven’t experienced very cod weather but they are warm .. so far have used them for walking and snow shoeing

Extra comfort
Recieved in 7 days. Assessed size a perfect fit. Condition no flaws detected. Endurance, flexibility, comfort all great. Lightweight easy on and off. Expected rub on toes, heel and ankle - but this has not occurred. Impressed that after wearing them for 15 days in a row for walks that that initial break in adjustment that i thought i would need has not materialised. Really good product. This will meet my needs visiting Norway in winter Jan 2025.

Did Not Fit
Looked great. Quality of construction was great. I expect the tread pattern would be great on snow. Sadly, I had to return these as they did not fit. I have tried on six or seven different styles of Salomon footwear thinking that the fit might be style dependent. Unfortunately, my heel does not stay planted in the rear of the shoe and slips with each step. Sizing down creates low toe box space. Last attempt for me.

Great winter hiking boots
This is my 9 th Salomon hiking boots pare. I bought last month and used on five hikes approximately 80 km in snow and cold hikes around -10c weather. My feet’s feels more cold than average person that’s why I bought these boots. It’s heavy and big also very little harder from inside then other Salomon boots.I used extra insoles and feel perfect. I give 5 stars these boots because I never get freeze my feet’s in my last five hikes, grip is also better than other Salomon boots , fits perfectly on first hike . Overall I’m very satisfied with these boots pare.

Snow plow boots!
Bought these a month ago for walking my dog in the bush and snow. Love the quick lace system…makes it a breeze to get the boots tied up. I do have larger feet (48) and the opening to get them on is a bit of a challenge..the trade off is a snug fit around the heel. Great to have a gaiter ring at the front.

Slippery on ice
Overall good for snow and cold weather. But constantly slips on a little bit of slick ice. My insulated Danners hold well on ice so a little disappointed. The quick lace is very convenient.

Good winter boot
I bought this boot to replace my Solomon X Ultra 04 - these are more of a true boot. They come up a bit higher and a warmer. I’ve had them out in - 20 while walking and my feet were still warm. The thicker deeper tread is good on hard pack snow. I like the boot, it keeps your feet warm and dry. I would have given it 5 starts if it wasn’t for the “quick tie lacing system” - I’m still getting used to it, but I think I would have preferred standard laces.
