Happy Trails
Like the boots--they run larger than normal. I am an 11 1/2 narrow and the medium width is too wide so I put another insole in. I also don't like corded laces because they always come untied, but I can easilly change those out.

Great boots
I just spent the weekend in the mountains and this boots were amazing. I was doing 5 to 8 miles a day and they felt great. Lots of support, grip and held up in the ran/snow. I had no break-in period with these boots prior to this but they were extremely comfortable. I hope they last a long time. I highly recommend these boots

Best Boot
I'm writing this review after wearing these boots for 400+ miles of rugged hiking. They are comfortable, very secure/stable, and can really take a beating. Been hiking for decades and these boots are the best.

Great Boot
A little stiff when I first purchased but quickly broke in. Very waterproof and warm in cold weather even though it's not a winter boot. Decent grip and excellent support compared to what I was used to.

Havent wlorn these yert but
Haventg worn these yet, but have previous 4d GTX one, and THEY WERE ROCK SOLID. I bought the new alpine mids but realized pretty quick its not enough for heavy backcountry hikling, so bought these too. That bering said salomon shoes fit exact same as all other of their shoes. I debated other brands just to tru something different but, they are a very reliable goto. Wish they came in non-green l;ike mine rather than the light blue from lkike 5yrs ago but tehre so good it was a non brainer.

Lifetime of trust in Solomon Boots
I have been wearing Solomon's for two decades. Reading these reviews, I'm backing out of my purchase of Quest 4 GORE-TEX. I climb mountains often. I can't have slipping or water seepage, and definitely not blisters or a boot that fails me while crossing rock fields or stepping into scree. Solomon CEO. You need to get your VP'S to spend time at the factory. If you are using Asia, then you need to be on location every three months. I once manufactured in China. I learned this truth. If you allow the factories there to downgrade glue, or use inferior building materials, they will, every time. If you simple set specs, they will build you a great product. They are not adverse to it, they just need you to require it. They do no use contracts there. Quality products are made via relationship, called the Guangxi. Solomon. Go to your factories location and spend time there. You are about to loose decades of earn excellence.

Very comfortable
Greatest Christmas present ever! Felt a little stiff at first but after wearing them a day or two they feel great! Comfortable just on my feet or hiking for multiple miles. Keep my feet warm and dry even on snow and slushy trails. Highly recommend these boots. I’ve worn more expensive and less expensive boots and these are worth the money!
