Pleased to be able to get these boots again.....

Haven't been able to test these yet (too muddy!) but wanted to replace my previous faithful pair. They feel comfortable straightaway - supportive & not too heavy. I know they'll be great for hiking.

Great boots

This is my 4 th pair of these boots. They are extremely comfortable and work really well for mountain/hill walking and just general day to day dog walking. Had a little problem with durability but Salomon have been brilliant.

sturdy, reliable, straight out of the box

I've had 2 pairs of the quest 4 in the last 5 years - they have taken me on near daily hikes, the 75km west coast trail, and through winter walks on the east coast. comfortable straight out of the box! never any blisters (which is why I love Salomon). Only reason for needing a second pair is the sole began to split where it connects to the shoe - the warranty replacement process was super easy. I can't imagine a different boot for hiking long distances, technical terrain, or multi-day use.

Very solid, hardworking boot

I'm a field biologist and I do a lot of off-trail, bushwhacking work. Plus day hiking on my own time. This is my fourth or fifth pair of these excellent boots. They are wide enough in the toe box not to cramp the front of my foot, and I get about 2-3 years out of them, wearing them probably about 50 days a year. They are very waterproof and supportive. Please keep making them!

Disappointing

I bought the Quest 4 a year ago and they've been pretty disappointing. I went for Salomon because my olde hiking shoes were Salomon and I loved them. I've literally been in less than 10 hikes with the Quest 4 and they're already falling apart. The shoelace hook is loose and there are loose threads as well. The plastic in the tip of the shoe is also coming off. Very disappointing for such expensive shoes.

Disappointed

I invested on a new pair of hiking boots. I went with Salomon, a well respected brand and it really disappointed me. Color is great, boots look cool but when I tried them on for the first time the shoe lace hook got loose. They literally lasted 2 minutes

TOO BIG

I own an old pair of Salomon and they fit perfectly, but these are WAAAY too big. I am a 5 and these are more like a 6. Disappointed, will be returning them
