Not what I thought it was
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seeing the name I thought it was made out of merino but it really was a very thin sleeveless vest. For the price I expected more so I returned it.

One of my favorite Smartwool items!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shell vest is perfect for running, biking, xc skiing - anything that requires just a little wind protection. It not meant to be a warm layer, it just takes the chill off from wind. Love it!!! For reference, I'm 5'5 and 135 and bought a small.

I have not found a use for this vest.
"Ultralight" is not an understatement. It doesn't provide any warmth at all nor any water shedding properties. The color is nice.
