I bought this to replace the one I bought three years ago. It is my go to sweater great value ,fits great and is warm.

Sizing is Waaaay Off!! Don't buy.

I ordered this sweater as a Christmas gift for my 5'9" 40-year old son who is an endurance athlete and climber and who has worn a men's medium since his 20's, including many products from Smartwool. I could see the second I removed the packaging that this sweater was grossly mis-sized, in fact, I had my 6'5" 225 lb husband who normally wears an XL try it on and it fit him. I'm more than a little annoyed that after the many high-end gear purchases I've made from Backcountry over the years, I have to pay to return what is basically a defective product.
