Ruckus Photochromic Sunglasses
The Ruckus Photochromic Sunglasses from Smith cover all the bases for cycling, running, or any other outdoor activity. This pair features Smith's most versatile lens that uses photochromic technology for varying light conditions. This lens shifts from clear to gray when exposed to sunlight so you can comfortably wear your sunglasses in a variety of lighting environments in most conditions. It includes an additional ChromaPop Contrast Rose Flash lens that helps enhances overall clarity by filtering out secondary colors to make natural colors really pop. The Ruckus also has a unique frame with re-engineered PivLock lens change technology that lets you switch out lenses for others tints. Smith also includes a hard case, microfiber bag, and cleaning wipe. The thin megol temples offer excellent helmet compatibility and no-slip comfort for the longest road rides and gnarliest trails. Its raised brow design increases peripheral vision while in the riding position, and the top bar venting and two-position adjustable nose pads provide a proper fit to help minimize fogging and maximize comfort.

La lunette protège très bien
La lunette protège très bien des rayons du solei et offre une excellente visibilité. On voit bien les détails de la surface neigeuse. Seul déception l’appui n’existe n’est pas ajustable alors que celui que j’avais pouvait être élargi,

Love the Ruckus, not sure about Photochromic lens
I really like the Ruckus lens shape, frame, and fit. I have a larger head/face, and the fit is great for mtn biking and road biking. Jury is still out on the Photochromic lens. I like it on cloudy and partly cloudy days for sure. I thought it would be good for going in and out of the trees on sunny days, but the lens doesn't change that fast. On blue-bird sunny days, I find myself wishing I had a little more lens. Packaging the Photochromic Ruckus with an Ignitor lens as the second lens seems redundant. Both are better for low light days. Neither are great for bright sunny days. Ideally Smith would pair the more expensive Photochromic lens with a lower VLT lens like, say, a Chromapop Platinum.

The Bee's Knees
I bought these bad boys for biking this summer and they are top notch. The photochromic lenses are super nice for transitioning between different lighting levels throughout the day and the PivLock system makes it outrageously easy to swap out lenses, which is key. No issues with fogging while on the up-track and the lens quality is unbeatable (like in both my Squad XL ski and bike goggles). Looking forward to testing these out while touring this winter. Another great product by Smith, as expected.
