Backcountry/ThirtyTwo have ghosted me
So I'll start with the good. It's an exceptionally comfortable boot accept that it run at least a size or size and half small. I wear a size 10 in most shoes, but ended up settling on the 11.5. It's nice and flexible for a surfy style of riding and very easy to walk in. Getting strapped in take a bit longer than Boa style and it's a bit bulky, although I added the heel cups that came with the boot. Now for the bad. I bought the boot in the fall and after a month of riding the inner lacing broke. I would have been fine if ThirtyTwo or Backcountry helped me replace the broken lacing. But instead they have played ping pong with me and I've heard nothing back after repeated attempts to reach them. This would never happen at another retailer. I've had to go and buy new boots elsewhere. I'd be more than happy to talk to someone if they still want to reach me. But it's been crickets.
