Why We Like The Weston Grizzly Carbon Ski

It is our opinion that creativity is at its highest when the snow is deep. Nothing encourages us to explore these creative thoughts like the Weston Grizzly Carbon Ski. This 120mm ski uses rocker in the tip and tail to keep us stable and on top of the snow so that we can smear turns, butter off cliffs, and slash wind lips with ease.

I've been on the Grizzlies for 3 seasons now, and they're perfect for what I do. I spend most of my time skiing in Brittish Columbia, and this is my go-to. They rip in pow, but because of the camber underfoot, I find they handle all conditions, even if it gets firm and chopped up. I can ski them everyday of the season - true one ski quiver for places that get lots of snow. I'm 5'10" and 165lb and I ski the 186cm. I tour on the carbon model, which cuts some weight and keeps the legs fresh for the descent. I've also got the standard construction, which is super damp and stable - it works great for the resort or mechanized access. These skis have held up to a TON of abuse and I honestly can't fault them!! highly recommended.

This ski is my daily driver, and favorite ski of all time!!! I’ve been skiing 100ish days a year for the past 2 decades and have had the good fortune of skiing just about every ski out there while working in shops, and also manufactured skis for a handful of years. This Grizzly Carbon has all of the right ingredients to be a great everyday ski for all over the mountain. Charges inbounds through crud, bumps and groomers and floats like a dream in the deepest pow! Basically Weston nailed the design on this one, and it will do anything you ask of it!!!

These things float in the deepest pow. Very fun and lively skis! I was nervous to ski as short as a 186, but the 120mm waist keeps you afloat no matter how deep and blower the snow is. Its a super quick turning ski with ample tip and til rocker, but plenty stiff enough underfoot to still arc turns on groomers. Buy it!

Playful pow slayer

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This is the Ski on big days. Super light and they charge! I ride these on big mountain missions and on mega deep days. The turn radius is small and they turn on a dime because of this. So whether your in tight trees or a tight chute, open it up because these skis will keep up.

Weston Grizzly skis not only float on that fresh powder, but they still hold an edge and cut-through any crud with NO problem. They are a must have for those DUMPING on repeat days !!!

The Grizzly is a powder hungry monster. It tours great for a 120mm underfoot and very light for its size. There is no amount of snow that slows this thing down. Its stable at speed and loves to log airtime. For those who think this thing can't handle the groomers you will be pleasantly surprised. Its multi radial sidecut makes the Grizzly act like an oversized GS ski. Highly recommend

I like to call these skis my “Landing Gears” as they have allowed me to ski out of the deepest and gnarliest landings where most skis would fold or break. They are super lightweight for how burly and rigid they are, which makes for an even easier uphill experience. I utilize the CAST system with heavy Pivots on these and they are still lighter than my other skis with pin bindings. Absolute beauty of a ski and will be in my quiver as long as they make them!

These aren't the first ski I go to because of the waist, but I know I'm going to have a good day when I do grab them! I haven't skied a pow ski that you can open up on like this, but still feels super nimble in the trees. I think it's a result of the variable sidecut, whatever it is, it works! These are surprisingly cambered for a pow ski, but are super fun and playful despite that. That camber comes in handy when you get variable snow, or groomers/cat tracks if you take them to the resort. Probably wouldn't be the only ski I owned (although I'd honestly be pretty happy if that was the case), but an incredible ski for the deeper days

The grizzly has been my go to year round ski for years! It's got Great stiffness underfoot to hold an edge or ride out those flat landings. While still being insanely light for a 120mm underfoot ski. Super durable also after taking them for many early season tours and they returned with barely a scratch! The camber and rocker profile is excellent to help you hold an edge on the firmer stuff too! Get this ski!

The Grizzly skis great in powder! With 120mm under foot they are hard to sink. When matched with the pomoca z clip skins they are super easy to transition. These skis are even great on edge thanks to some healthy side cut!
