Why We Like The Jetboil Genesis Base Camp 2 Burner Cooking System
The Jetboil Genesis Base Camp 2 Burner Cooking System is a compact two-burner stove system that runs on a standard 16.4-ounce propane bottle and allows us to whip up everything from bacon and eggs for breakfast to spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. We especially like that the compact design allows the stove to fold together and nest in the included pot for easy carrying up to camp, but also limits the amount of space the system takes up in the back of our rig when car camping.

Very nice and compact
I got this to save space when camping and it definitely fits the bill. The stove is expandable to add a JetBoil Luna, but I only see that happening if you have a large meal to prepare. The pot and pan are nice, but they are very big for just my wife and I, so we ended up buying smaller pans. If I were to buy again, I’d just get the stove instead of the whole system. I think that the adjustability of the flame is the best part of the unit…. Better than any stove I’ve used. Not sure the system is worth the price because there are cheaper systems out there that are a lot cheaper and have similar technology, but it is made very well and will give you years of dependable operation.

Great stove - Want to Love it
The stove is great, good heat and efficient. The pots that come with are a great size, however, could be more sturdy. The straining top for the pot CANNOT be use on the pan as it will cause it to melt. It would be great to have it able to be used with both included cooking surfaces. The wind shield is also not the best. Wind shield helps to protect the flame, however, does not protect the cooking surfaces resulting a lot of loss of heat to those surfaces in the wind.

Exceptional Product
The Genesis system packs up into a small, fairly lightweight package. It is super easy to use to be able to cook an amazing camp meal. The ability for the different pieces to nest inside one another makes it where you never forget pieces. Overall the usability of it is top notch and what you would expect from JetBoil.

The product is sleek in design and super portable. Easy to store and easy to break out for a trip. My only complaint would be the dials. They spin freely making it challenging to gauge where the gas comes out at an optimal place.

Great for Truck Camping
Awesome product design with great flame control. Easy to use, great for campsites and base camps. Would not want to carry into the back country. While I only used one burner for my meal, I did test out running both burners at the same time.

Compact stove
The stove and its contents store perfectly. Live that I can use and adapter to hook up to my 20 lb propane bottle and the griddle fits right on it for breakfast.

No Clues Needed
I miss my Basecamp. 7 National Parks hiking and writing ( sequel to my National Treasure Movie franchise) It was all packed up and stored in my Jeep and unfortunately "it was borrowed" while I was out on the trail. Someone will be cooking well tonight. Great stove and very space saving. Easy to operate. Decent precision flame adjustment. (critical for chef wife) Most likely will be ordering a new one! May add the extra burner!
